The Long Island Nets Honor LICAB Executive Director Joe Salamone as ‘Community Hero of the Game’

For his exemplary commitment to the Long Island community and his efforts to combat bullying in our communities the Long Island Nets awarded the Executive Director of The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying, Joe Salamone, the Community Hero of the Game.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this recognition. This as all honors and distinctions that I receive are for all of those kids out there who were ever told they will never become something. Don’t listen to them,” said Salamone.
