LICAB Hosts 7th Annual Fall Gala

In October we proudly brought back our Annual Fall Gala which was cancelled in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Returning to our storied home of Woodside Club in Muttontown, supporters of LICAB’s anti-bullying efforts on Long Island joined together in raising much needed funds, celebrating the accomplishments that were made in the 2020-2021, and looking forward to the work already underway in the 2021-2022 academic year.

We were so proud to honor Mr. George Andriopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Launchpad Five One Six – a business consulting firm in Farmingdale, for his efforts and dedication to our cause. Mr. Andriopoulos spoke eloquently of his time as not only a victim of adolescent bullying but of his story that eventually saw him become the bully as so many often do, and his road to redemption.
