Held at the prestigious The Woodside Club on Long Island’s Gold Coast, LICAB proudly hosted its 12th Annual Golf Open, presented by The Bristal Assisted Living. More than just a day on the course, the event served as a powerful demonstration of Long Island’s commitment to bullying prevention, youth mental health, and creating safer, more supportive communities for children. Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, golfers, and supporters, this year’s outing raised a record-breaking $138,000 to advance LICAB’s mission.

Now in its 12th year, the Golf Open has become one of LICAB’s signature fundraising events, bringing together community leaders, businesses, educators, and advocates who share a common belief: that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported.

The 2026 Golf Open honored Amy Silva-Magalhaes, Chief Operating Officer of The Bristal Assisted Living. Throughout her distinguished career, Amy has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and improving the lives of others. Under her leadership, The Bristal has become known not only for excellence in senior care, but also for its deep investment in the communities it serves. Amy’s dedication to compassion, inclusion, and giving back reflects the very values that drive LICAB’s work and make her an exceptional champion for children and families across Long Island.

LICAB extends its deepest gratitude to the event sponsors, volunteers, board members, and every golfer who helped make this year’s outing our most successful yet. Together, we continue to strengthen our impact, expand critical supports for youth and families, and move closer to a Long Island where every child can thrive free from bullying.
