Held at the Woodside Club on Long Island’s Gold Coast, LICAB hosted the 11th Annual Golf Open, presented by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. The event once again proved to be more than just a round of golf—it was a powerful display of community support for bullying prevention and youth mental health advocacy across Long Island that helped raise over $116,000.
Now in its 11th year, the Golf Open has become one of LICAB’s cornerstone fundraising events, drawing support from individuals, families, and businesses who believe in creating a safer, more inclusive future for children.
This year the event honored Long Island native and President of Ren-Pharm International, Ms. Renee Worrall. Ms. Worrall, was shaped early on by her experience growing up with a brother with Down syndrome—instilling in her a lifelong commitment to inclusion and advocacy. As a student, she led one of the largest youth advocacy groups for AHRC, earning leadership roles and scholarships that paved the way for her future. Now the founder and President of Ren-Pharm International, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry for over 35 years, Renée has also become a passionate supporter of LICAB. What began with attending our golf outing has grown into deep, personal advocacy—amplifying our mission and helping ensure that no child facing bullying ever feels alone.
LICAB extends its deepest thanks to the event sponsors, volunteers, board members, and every golfer who made this year’s outing such a success. Together, we continue to drive forward the mission of building a kinder, more supportive Long Island—one child at a time.
