LICAB Awards Deer Park High School Senior Scholarship at Annual Ceremony

Executive Director Joe Salamone returned to his alma mater, Deer Park High School to present LICAB’s annual Community Upstander Award as part of their annual Senior Awards ceremony. The award, in the amount of a $1,000 scholarship, is given to a graduated senior who shows a strong desire to support and accept others around them and who, along with a strong sense of integrity, has embraced anti-bullying strategies and works to preserve the dignity among all students.

This year, the award was presented to Ms. Alexa Westnofske. Congratulations Alexa!
