The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying is proud to announce the appointment of Gary Campanelli, Director of Guidance for the Hauppauge School District, to its Board of Directors.
With decades of experience in student support services and mental health advocacy, Gary brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing students today—particularly around bullying, anxiety, and emotional well-being. In his role with Hauppauge, he has been a trusted resource for students, families, and faculty alike, helping to implement proactive and compassionate support systems across all grade levels.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Gary to the board,” said Cara D’Agostino, Board Chair. “His professional expertise and heartfelt commitment to student advocacy align perfectly with our mission, and we know his leadership will strengthen our impact across Long Island.”
Gary’s addition to the board marks another step forward in LICAB’s continued effort to bring together voices from education, mental health, and community leadership to support children and families affected by bullying.
