Cara D’Agostino Named Chair of the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying has elected a new Board Chair, current Secretary Cara D’Agostino. Ms. D’Agostino succeeds outgoing Board Chair Jenna Natale.
In her departure from the board Ms. Natale leaves the organization with pride in her accomplishments as chair saying “It was an honor to be part of The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying and serve as chair during a pivotal year for the organization. I am so proud of the impact this nonprofit makes every day in the lives of Long Island youth and look forward to seeing future success under Joe’s leadership and with Cara at the helm of the board.”
Executive Director Joe Salamone offered congratulations to Ms. D’Agostino and well wishes and thanks to Ms. Natale saying “I have known and worked with Cara for many years and admire her as a friend and a colleague and I look forward to working closer with her as Board Chair as LICAB continues fulfilling our mission. I thank Jenna for taking on the role as Chair during a crucial time in LICAB’s journey and for being a wonderful friend and partner throughout the last several years. Her impact on the organization will forever be felt.”
As she takes office as chair, Ms. D’Agostino, who has served on the board since 2015 said “Watching LICAB grow and impact our communities on Long Island over the past seven years has been such a privilege, and I am humbled to be entrusted with its future growth. I am so thankful to Jenna for all of the incredible work that she has done over the course of her tenure, and look forward to working with Joe and the organization in the capacity as Chair to make sure that we can reach even more children to help combat the devastating effects of bullying.”
